Order Status
We make one delivery each weekend to a Yamato shipping agent located
near San Francisco. Usually this will be
Saturday morning (California time).
Therefore, to make sure your order is included in the current week's delivery,
we must receive it before Saturday morning (California time).
After we have delivered your order to the Yamato agent,
we will send you a shipment confirmation email with Yamato’s tracking number.
Yamato Transport USA will then pick up your order one or two business days
later.
After that, you will be able to
track your order on Yamato’s website.
After your order has been delivered to the Yamato shipping agent, the quickest way to obtain status information is to contact Yamato directly.

logging in to your account. Once you have logged in, click the “My Account” button located at the top of the screen. When you do this, you will see a list of your orders. The status of each order in the list will be shown as either “pending, processing, shipped, or cancelled.” To view order details, simply click the “view” button next to the order.
“Pending” status is the first step. It means we have received your order but it is not yet on its way to Yamato. You can always change or cancel an order when its status is still “pending.” To change an order, you simply cancel it and then place a new order that reflects your desired changes. To cancel a “pending” order, log in to your account and find your order details as described above. At the bottom of the order details screen, you will see a button that says, “Click Here to Cancel This Order.” To cancel the order, simply click the button. If we have already processed your credit card payment, we will issue a full refund within one business day.
“Processing” status is the second step. It means we are delivering your order to the Yamato shipping agent. Normally, we will do this each Saturday morning here in California (which is about midnight in Japan). Therefore, your order cannot be changed or cancelled after we have changed the order status to “processing.”
“Shipped” status is the third step. It means we have delivered your order to the Yamato shipping agent. We will also send you a shipment confirmation email that includes a Yamato tracking number. If you have any questions about your order after it has “shipped,” please contact Yamato directly.
“Cancelled” status means your order has been cancelled and will not be shipped. If we have already processed your credit card payment, we will issue a full refund within one business day.
